Cable and Comms pty.Ltd. entered the emerging field of commercial LED warehouse lighting for and energy saving approximately two years ago. We are Registered installers with ACP’s [accredited service providers] & have a full understanding of the ESS & the resulting ESC’s which are available from LED conversion work. Unless specified all Light fittings used are IPART approved which is a requirement for the ESS.

ESC or Energy Saving Certificates
A transferable certificate under Part 9 of the Electricity Supply Act 1995, which is created in accordance with the ESS Rule. A certificate represents the Energy Savings associated with the abatement of one tonne of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO -e).
ESS or Energy Savings Scheme
The Energy Savings Scheme (or the “Scheme”) is a NSW-based mandatory energy efficiency scheme for electricity retailers and other liable parties under the Scheme. The Scheme commenced on 1 July 2009. The Division of Resources and Energy, NSW Trade & Investment and the Office of Environment and Heritage have led the development of a detailed policy and legislative framework to ensure the efficient operation of the Energy Savings Scheme. The Energy Savings Scheme will operate until 2020 unless replaced by a national energy efficiency trading scheme.
